I bought this last year and it's doing well for it's second season...I've mislaid the name, it was a new one for me, I think it would probably go well with grasses etc or near a pond...I may try and split it later on in the year...I'll come back with the name...

Your garden's looking really good, Crissue - full of colour!
Down here, south of Angouleme, we've had a strange June...cloud and rain, little sun...more like a normal May, really. After all that fierce heat earlier, my plants are all in a state of confusion!

Hi Karen...nice to meet another France dweller ...Yes the weather has been extreme, we've had the equivalent of 1 and half days rain in six weeks...and today its back up in the 90's...Thanks for your comment on the garden, we've got a leaky pipe system running through all the beds, which is on a timer most of the time, so no hassle with the watering, and its only on for an hour or so...every three or four days...The Planters need regular watering, but i try and save all spare water that I can, and it helps the water bill tooo lol...

Such a big difference in weather conditions between Vienne and Charente. We've had lots of rain now, but the rivers are at the lowest I've ever seen them...
...they've put the barrages up for the beaches, but you can still see sandbanks where it should be quite deep...
...and temperatures set to soar again :/
I like your leaky pipe idea, especially on a timer...might have to investigate. It's certainly keeping your flowers happy!
