Yes, they are. I remember falling in love with the dachshund in San Francisco 20 years ago when I was at university (shows my age!). I was just walking around and met an owner with the sweetest standard black and tan. The dog was soooo chilled and adorable. He was slightly overweight and had a low slung tummy which I found really irrisistable!
I adore my two and wouldn't have any other breed! As you can imagine, we get stopped all the time when we are out as people can't resist Georgia Rose. I love their sausagy little bods. :-)

Thank you. The blond one is super laid back, she's a therapy dog. The dapple one is a little worm with lots of energy but she is still a very well-behaved little girl. :-)

We visit a residential home in Twickenham with Chynna every Sunday. She just lays there and gets tickled, stroked, cuddled, kissed, etc. She loves them and they love her!

Im not surprised, she has a lovely face..they both have. Its amazing the unconditional love they give us..we could learn a few lessons from them...

Aren't dachshunds smashing dogs. My 'old' man is Oscar, he is 14 years old. We lost his brother 4 years ago to back problems. They are standard black and tans.
