I took this pic of a Marsh Orchid over this last very enjoyable, but far too hot long weekend in Norfolk. We live a few minutes walk from a marsh and wetland reserve, but as far as I know there aren't any orchids there.

Where did you spend your weekend in Norfolk Cd ? I have 3 plants like this that were given to me by someone that has a lot growing round his lakes ....

Amy, it was on the north Norfolk coast, and the place where the orchids are is called Natural Surroundings. It's a natural meadow and wildlife area with a river meandering through it, totally unspoilt and I think part of a large estate. It's great for walks and small wildlife spotting, such as butterflies etc. You find it at a village called Leatheringsett near Holt.
