Thank you,Cinders and Paul..if you are ever at a loose end,you might like to see the display at the stand where I bought the seeds from,at Chelsea flower show..one of the first blogs I did, when I first joined..this is what started my love for them..pity I didn't get some of the colours there !.although my one and only little blue one is just opening..:o).I will take a pic,if and when it grows a bit more..if ever ..I wouldn't want it to feel inferior next to its big brothers..or sisters ! Lol.

I enjoyed the stroll through your garden photos today. It's looking a picture.

Thank you,that is a lovely compliment..now,if I had a garden like yours,that would be something ! :o)

You're very kind Bloomer. I'd would love to be able to dig in the soil again ... that's something I can't do at this place! That's why I have so many potted plants. I'd love to have flower beds and borders ... maybe in my next garden!

I love potted plants as well, and obviously, don't have as many as you..but they do seem to need more looking after,I suppose..especially watering..which must be a job in itself for you,in your climate..when you say 'next garden' are you thinking of moving?..

I'm good with the watering roster now Bloomer and I use water saving crystals and mulch for my pots. I also try not to have thirsty plants. It's trial and error though finding the more water-wise ones.

As for moving, no not in the near future but I can't see us staying here forever. The house will eventually be too big for us and the up-keep too much.

Glad you aren't moving for a long time yet,Bernieh..we can't be doing with not seeing your garden..:o)

Mine were only small the first year,6d..they will be bigger next year,I'm sure..just give them a good thick mulch for winter,,and they will be fine..

Thank you Sandra I can't get to them to give them a mulch shall have to ask the kids to do it.

I also smoother my Perennials with straw...which rots down as spring appears...it does protect the plants well..
