I thought I'd lost this last winter, but it has bounced back.

That is different ,very nice ! My Australian bottle brush shrubs are sprouting out from the bottom as well I thought I had lost them !

That's good - the same applies to my variegated Myrtle - it had two small branches left at the bottom, so I cut back to them, and I saw lots of new growth appearing at the base - so I don't quite know if I should cut it back even further now!

That's what you think, Sbg! Anyway, there'd be less lawn for the dratted rooks to peck at every day. Good reason for digging some more up? ;-D
