The new steps up to the house.

The new steps up to the house.

Last year there was just a steep gravel path, now we have steep stone steps. Shouldn't think it will deter escapee sheep though! When completely finished there will be wrought iron gates at the bottom. YES sheep proof!

Thanks girls. The garden building project is coming on - but as the builders only work Saturdays and Mick does bits when he can, progress is SLOW! About 4 years now!!! Jx - yes I know, Rome wasn't built in a day lol.

Thank you Ann. Sometimes all I can see are the bits that need doing and forget to look at the good bits. We have just had some very heavy downpours and all the flowers are looking miserable and I can just hear the slugs sharpening their teeth!! Jx

Thank you Pixi. I only take the photos of the pretty bits lol. Trust me, there are some dirty, smelly farmyardy bits too that are definately not pretty - what you might call projects in waiting! Jx

Lol! AH well I take pics which dont show my neighbours jungle next door! He should be ashamed! Him and his son are lazy, strim the grass twice a year I planted foxgloves in the bit next to my fence to stop weeds coming through.
