Paperbark maple

My favorite plants are the ones that are attractive all year and I really like trees with exfoliating bark. The fall color on paperbark maples are very pretty too. I planted oakleaf hydrangeas and fothergillas behind it and there is a Japanese Stewartia and Sourwood on the same side of the yard. It should be a pretty good show in the fall.

All sounds pretty good for sure Rk..I have a Ribes Flowering Currant, and we grow as a standard, otherwise it would take over, it grows so fast...It wasn't till all the under growth was taken off, we saw that it had exfoliating bark...and I love it, it adds to the beauty of the tree, I'll try and remember to post a pic..
