Clematis 'Fleuri'

Clematis 'Fleuri'

This is a stunning low growing clematis from Raymond Evison's 'Boulevard Collection'. Only grows about 1m high so good for a pot. I have one in the ground and this one in a pot. Very reliable and a prolific flowerer. Highly recommend it!

Isn't is just? I could just stare at it...but it would probably wilt if I did! ;))

You certainly have some very unusual and lovely plants in your garden. This a a fantastic colour.

That really is a stunner Karen. I have a few in pots now but they are placed in amongst the shrubs so growing tall, also found some canes like yours so they blend in well. It would be nice to have this on the patio.
I gave up and turned GOY off yesterday as I couldn't get in to anything.

Yes, I wonder what was up....I missed it as I was decorating. We got it all finished Thursday, but OH wants to do the remaining two rooms....dining and conservatory. I shan't be doing them today though....absolutely kn******d! And the weather looks ok too, so hopefully we'll get out of the house for a change!

Karen, can I ask where you got those canes from? I am looking for something nice to grow my Duchess of Edinburgh clematis up. They are just tiny at the mo and still on the canes they came with. Thanks Angie x

Thanks, should have known eh! :)

I like the flower but the height is very interesting because we live in windy corner. If the wind is not from one direction it is coming from another. We rarely have still days with no wind at all.
