One of two that were moved last year during the revamp...We didn't expect flowers this year...but here is the first, none the worse off for the move...

Shame that, they can be a bit fussy, some do not not like rich soil...some only flower on last years wood so if the pruning has been severe then no blooms...Or maybe it just doesn't like where it is...Hope this helps...

Hmm Its in semi shade..I didnt cut it back at all last year.

Hi Pixi...One of the reasons we moved ours was because our garden gets unbearably Hot, and they would crisp, so they were moved into semi shady positions...and fingers crossed, they will flourish better...I only cut back the stragglers around April...to give a nice even shrub...
The only other thing I've found to stop flowering, is ants nesting underneath....

Some of my hydrangeas don't flower every year because the flower buds are frozen off. The Endless Summer ones are nice because they will bloom on old and new wood, which is especially nice in a cold climate. The one in your picture is a beauty, I really like the lace-cap ones!

Thats pretty! Mine hasnt flowered for 2 years :( The plant still looks so healthy though..weird eh
