They do look good!
I like them raw too, in a salad with onions, garlic and vinaigrette!

me too...much better raw, just jazz em up a bit... :))
I've left it too late this year, but next year i'm going to grow my own Garlic again...have you tried Claire, they take about 7-8 months to grow into a decent size...
Before I forget, i've got two Aubergine fruits so far, how are yours doing!!

hey folks!
yes Crissue i have some garlic on the go, three planters i started it off back in march/april time so i guess i've got a long way to go with it!
as for my aubergines i have four plants, they seem to start flowering then the flowers fall off :(
i had the same thing happen last year so i don't know what i'm doing wrong?
oh well i'll keep em going for now.

Hi Claire....the same thing happened to mine, lots of flowers, and then they started falling off too...I was just about ready to pull the plants, when I noticed one fruit on each plant...So hang in there, they seem to know what they are doing...Great about the garlic...nice to grow your own...
Poor old you Karen, not much luck for you...Will you get time to get your porous pipe installed before you go it will certainly help...
