I love this red colour - what kind of plant is this motinot?
Please don't tell me it is a penstemon x

Its a Sapdragon Scottish, proper name Antirrhinum...i grew this from seed early in the Spring, they're probably best treated as annuals, but can self-seed and appear the following year...This is a nice red isn't it?...They come in all colours, easy from seed...:>)

Thanks motinot. That was what I thought at first but the more I looked at it I started to doubt myself.
I love the red with the salvia. I have a wee space I could squeeze something in :))))
I'm not a seed kinda gal! I deadhead before seeds get q chance to drop on most of my plants. Can never decide if that is a good thing or a bad thing.

Its up to you Scottish...I tend to leave a couple of seed-heads on a plant, if i like it...then look for seedlings the following season...I also collect seed in paper bags....:>)
