Ta, Sticki my dear, we havent spoken much lately..muchos busy..how are you?

Long day at work today but I still like working there. Bought one or two ( or ten or eleven) new plants and keep popping them in!
I got ten little fuchsias for £5 from one of the GCs near here - it's a fuchsia specialists.

Sounds like a case of keeping your head down and nose to the grindstone hey? Tout passe!
The fuchsias were a bargain and should grow well for you. Are they hardy or not?

Don't think so altho some were. Planning to keep them in the little bedroom or the garage for the winter??

Inside the garage but against the house wall. The warmest place, especially if the wall was the kitchen!

Ah I see, sadly not against the kitchen, but it does have the boiler in there.

It doesn't freeze - not even last winter but there is no light, it's built into the side of the hill.

Outside in a cold frame/greenhouse during the day, in at night? Depends on how many, how cold and how slippery lol!

Hmmm, could be quite a few. I only have one of those plastic greenhouse things. Perhaps the little bedroom then?

Funny you should remark at this moment BA...he's just returned to the garden. We have a new feeder with a little tray at the bottom, and he had just managed to perch on it to get some sunflower hearts. If we keep using this feeder he might well become a regular visitor..he has been 3 times in as many weeks that we know of.
