Moonglow Sweetbay Magnolia

It hasn't flowered yet this year but the last week or two it has really pushed a lot of new growth. I have seen these flower throughout the entire summer before and they have a nice fragrance.

I never really cared for Magnolia trees, probably because I have treated so many of them with scale infestations haha. A lot of the times they lose flowers because of late spring frosts too. This one doesn't get Magnolia scale and blooms late enough where frost isn't a problem either. The flowers are not as strongly scented as daphne or lilac but I like it just as much.
