So many lovely blossoms! Very pretty! What are the little leaves right at the front that look like African violets?

That's just Ajuga poodle, I use it as an edging plant. This one is 'multicolor'...it is very pretty and lighter in colour than most of the others I've seen.

Not surprisingly it's a new name for me. Thanks Karen! It's all a bit of a learning curve, but lots of fun. It's nice to give the blossoms a bit of a foliage frame for it all to work nicely and appeal to the eye.

My Ajuga keeps going down with mildew.......smashing view and it all looks very green!! and healthy...

We had central heating and gas fire on last night! Having said that, the sun came out for about half an hour, so I had a quick tour, but now it's gone again ...:((
