That is an interesting plant Sp. I wondered how it compared to the lupin in terms of being a perennial. Lupins tend to not be long lasting in our garden. I think because the soil is acid. The interesting bit is that it is being looked at seriously as an animal food crop, for use as grazing, making hay and as a silage crop in the Caucasus. The stories behind plants are often fascinating. This one spreads by rhizomes and the seeds held in the legume pods need to be inoculated with a specific substance to make them viable. If the soil is right for them this substance will be found existing in it. Thanks for showing it.
