The first time I have seen the flowers as I always seem to make the mistake of putting them in the border and they disappear.

Yes, it's lovely, but not hardy here. I also love Gillenia Trifoliata...similar flower, taller plant, hardy, lovely autumn colour. Only comes in white though.

Just seen this. I too love Gaura and been splitting them for a while now so Myself, my daughter and my granddaughter-in-law are all well supplied now. It has fantastic flowering time. I especially love Vanilla Dream and Tutti Fruitti which is a lovely raspberry pink...

Yes. Meadow, These are really tough, so go ahead. If you haven't got vanilla dream, it's flower stems are about three to four feet tall. Tutti is shorter at about two foot...

I'm pleased I've just seen your comments as I didn't know you could divide Gaura,but as its in a pot ,it may not have formed a big enough root. I think I will leave it until the spring.
