Fuchsia 'Thalia'

This large Fuchsia was growing in front of a house in City Heights, San Diego, CA. It amazes me this plant wasn't burned up in the very hot and humid heat waved we just experienced. This plant appears to have been growing there for many years. Posted for my friend Meanie. Photo taken July 7, 2011.

Yes, it's pretty large...even larger than what I photographed.
This poor plant was in need of shade and water. This plant typically grows in shaded to partial shaded areas here.

Yes, this one is pretty large. Typically, you'd see them growing in shade this big, not in full sun (even though these are located on the north side of this house).
