A delicate little flower. With an upright form.

I like this Gee as it looks decorative in the border because the flowers don't look down so much as some of the other bedding fuchsias.

I had this one many years ago Dorjac but lost it and have never seen it again .
It really is a beauty.

I bought 2 rooted cuttings of it recently from a small nursery down a country lane, which pots up its own cuttings, as I thought mine had died in the winter. Lo and behold the root that was in the ground, which I dug up and gave extra attention to, now has lots of shoots about 3 inches tall. It is a tall stiff fuchsia with upward pointing flowers. Later this small 'ma and pa' nursery will have much larger plants they have grown on.

I still haven't managed to find it anywhere, Dorjac, but will look at a garden show I am going to at the end of the month :) I am still being rained on, would really like some sunshine now!

We had a visitor yesterday who stayed several hours. He said the heavy rain caused many bumps on the M25. By the time he got here the rain had stopped. Everything in the garden seems on hold. Apple blossom lasting ages as opposed to 'if you blink you miss it' April 2011. We went out to N.Weald airfield NAAFI for lunch and all the fields around the River Roding were flooded. A bit more rain and it will flood onto the Ongar Road and cause mayhem. Woebetide you if you take to the little lanes to avoid it.

It is really pretty and so nice to see something different. It will have to go on my wish list.
