Muddy I am seriously thinking of growing in my side garden, nothing in there at the moment only grass and fence panels, think it would cover the panels well and I would not need to chop it back out there.
Michaella this is the only true British Clematis it grows wild in the hedgerows, if you want a lot of cover this is one to go for, it is a bit like the Russian Vine plant I have. It goes absolutely crazy, but its flowers are really worth the planting. It would go really well through those chopped down Conifers you cut off last year. This one is on side of an old green shed, so each year I chop it back down to the ground because it is so prolific. Can send you some of it if you would like to try it.
