Top garden - veg bed!

When we first moved here it was all laid to lawn and huge flower beds! Also very heavy clay.....the digging we did! Glad you like it :))

Yes I do...and what an improvement you've made...When we lived on the I.OW. we gardened on Blue slipper clay, and I know how hard going it is....well done you....and H of course... :)))

Thanks, my husband laid all the paving even though he isn't a builder, maybe he is in the wrong profession!!
Mind you the weeds keep me busy, coming up in all the cracks :)

Came back for a second look...I noticed your Heathers in pots, glad to see another heather fan, have you planted them yet...I bought a new one called 'Winter Chocolate' this week, looking forward to see how it turns out...

Sorry, they are Thyme bushes and Hyssop! I grew them from seed and they like the sharp drainage of being in a pot. Can see why you would think they resembled Heathers from a distance though. :)

Even nicer..you've got the lovely smell, do you use herbs in your cooking I do...love it...

Yes I do, especially Rosemary with lamb :)
