Tulip-tree Silkmoth

The other day while weeding I found this Tulip-tree Silkmoth. I put her in the 'cathouse' to see if she'd drop eggs for me but apparently she had already dropped them so I released her. This moth uses Tulip-tree leaves as a host but they can also be reared on Black Cherry and Sassafras.

This is a lovely moth. Reminds me a bit of a Cecropia moth.
