Clematis 'Nelly Moser'

Clematis 'Nelly Moser' (Clematis)

Finally gave up trying to rescue her in the border....Massive rootball attached to this tiny wee shoot. Keep your fingers crossed for her!

If theres lots of rootball you should get lots more shoots....perhaps next year! :) hope so!

Since you are a clematisaholic Karensusan, would you recommend feeding as well as watering? If so what feed would you recommend? Any help gratefully received :)
Thanks for your vote of confidence Sheila!

I'm sure this will grow. I was surprised to see a clematis i lost 5 years ago. It just popped up this year, and i assume it came back because it was planted very deep.Another one succumbed to clematis wilt and this too has come back . Best of luck and happy gardening.

Thanks Rose 1949....I had another clematis re emerge after 4 years a couple of months back. Was told it had probably escaped the slugs this year!!
It hasn't flowered yet but is putting on some growth :)
