Don't know what you'd call this plant, but it was truly impressive. Those flowers were about 12ft long!
Edit - Musybananna kindly id'ed this plant as Heliconia bourgaeana.

I saw this pic under the "tropical ideas". Very neat picture. I didn't know these plants got bracts that long. It looks like a type of heliconia. I'm trying to grow some heliconia varieties. I wonder what variety it is.
