As I have said before, your 'street trees' make ours in the UK look so drab! Great pictures as always Andy.

Thanks! That's funny! I guess it is true...here in San Diego so many flowering trees are used as street trees... Jacaranda, Orchids trees (several species), Markhamia, Cassia, Tipuana tipu, Tabebuia, Erythrina (several species), Corymbia ficifolia (several colors) and the list goes on and on.

Yes, they are very attractive trees. I especially like the fragrance from the flowers.

It's a sweet scent...almost like a sugar candy.

This tree is so popular here. You wouldn't believe how widely planted this tree is here...it's everywhere.
