Thanks! That's funny! I guess it is true...here in San Diego so many flowering trees are used as street trees... Jacaranda, Orchids trees (several species), Markhamia, Cassia, Tipuana tipu, Tabebuia, Erythrina (several species), Corymbia ficifolia (several colors) and the list goes on and on.

This tree is so popular here. You wouldn't believe how widely planted this tree is here...it's everywhere.
