OHs Back Garden 2 - After

Is OH getting interested or has it taken a lot of persuasion? Already looks much better.

Interested... no not really. Much persuasion... yes and no, for the back garden (the photo above), no persuasion needed I just did it (well mom and I). I'm trying to talk him into ripping everything out in the front and starting from scratch but he doesn't seem to buying just yet lol.

He apparently used to keep it looking nice, but then did his achilles tendon in and couldn't do anything. After that he did some damage to his knee. By the time he was healed both the front and back were a mess. This was all before I met him btw.

Thanks, it was hard work but I seem to have made a dent. My parents said it doesn't look loved yet, more that someones thought "ooh I'd better deal with that" lol.

Maybe over time OH will start to take an interest again. Perhaps it was too daunting for him to think about it as it was out of control. Good for you for having a go.

I don't hold out too much hope lol. He keeps telling me I can do various things - cheeky so and so. Give a guy an inch and he takes a mile lol. What he hasn't realised is that once I move in with him, I wont be satisfied with the status quo and will be drafting him to deal with things. Like the two big conifers in the front garden.

Sounds like he's in for a kick up the whatnot - hee hee.

Hehehe lets just say he is in for a shock :P

Just wait till he sees a couple of nice chairs, and a table for his Wine/beer etc...that'll motivate him...only need a small space cleared for that, bit of bribery never did any harm...provided you've got some sunshine lol...

Lol now theres an idea. Will have to give it a go.
