how specialised are these to grow, they are certainly very attractive. I saw a similar one in a walled garden in Somerset but Im not sure that planting in my shady garden would work??

I have some planted in quite a lot of shade which grow ok, E. bicolour seems hardy here and quite easy, it self seeds in the garden.
