Anyone know the name of this insect? There are a lot of them this year in the garden.

OH insisted on a Buddleja to replace a boring shrub. It is Royal Red and blooming really well Gee but nary a butterfly have I seen settle on it. They seen very jittery this year, as though they have ADHD. I was photographing the mumsy spider and I saw this one settle...so snap. The best pollinators are the hoverflies, they settle on the very tip of the Fuchsia filament and feed off pollen from the anther. Wasps go up inside the petals, they snack on hoverflies too!!

Can't help on this one, Dorjac. It was certainly tucking in - all those in my garden just won't sit still :)
