My neighbor's Dwarf Poinciana is almost in full bloom. This plant is like a ground cover, however, it's technically a shrub or small tree. Photo taken July 30, 2011.

Yes, and this plant has a lot more blooming to go. We're heading into the dog days of summer. (the August/September high heat and humidity...not looking forward to it).
