I bought these Gladioli as 'plum tart'...but they are a bit red for plum tart..dont you think?...:>)

Me too...it's pretty nice, you might find it changes slightly on the next sheath that opens, I think they are full of surprises...:o))

Very pretty. I'm sure I have that purple flower in my garden .... if it has sort of ferny-looking leaves & can grow to around 3 feet tall? The flowers look very similar. Seeds itself around the garden. Goes lovely with your red gladioli. I've never had a gladioli in any of my gardens. I really ought to get one or two in.

The purple flower is Linaria Dwyllis or its common name is Toadflax...I suppose the leaves are 'ferny'...:>)

Another favourite of mine...Had a no show with all my new ones last year, but this year, wow some real surprises...:o))
I think Gladis don't always come true, especiallly in the first year, they seem to need a couple of seasons to develop...
