Replacement for fallen arch

I put up a scrolled rod iron post this morning where the arch that fell was. Put a birdhouse on top and worked in the red climbing rose. I now have the option of putting up an identicle post on the other side and then I could connect the two with iron rods. For now I'm liking the way it looks.

Looks superb. Who would have thought you had that bad storm only a few days ago.

I like ironwork a lot. I'm sure it will look great whatever you decide to do.

I love it Mike, especially with the bird house on top ! So sorry about your storm damage, but from the looks of it you can't even tell. I think I have the same kind of arches that you have and I hold my breath every storm. I've lost one already but have 3 more.

Isn't it amazing how we adapt to situations. I have 4 more of the same arches Di. I think the arch fell over because it was really top heavy with vines. Hopefully this wont happen again if I keep them trimmed.
