We'll let some ripen and use some green.Also some chilli and another batch of tomatoes called amateur.

You're welcome...:o)) It would have been a shame for them to go to waste...we were pleased to find that they could be frozen...Hate to see food go to waste...

Same here on the food bit. We're planning already what to do with all our tomatoes. Been sunny all day here, so got the garden back up to scratch after our holiday.

Hope you had a good Holiday....I grow more than enough Toms...later on I make green Tomato Chutney, gorgeous...finger licking good...:o)) and another which includes apple and Sultanas, and theres enough to last till the next batch this year, and I give my Neighbours too...Great with Cold Meats & Salads & Pork especially...:o))

That sounds good Sue, might give that a go. This one just seemed to ripen quite quickly by itself. Don't know why 6d.

6d all of mine are a good size, had loads of sunshine, but none have changed colour yet...

Oh and I'm leaving the ripe pepper in with the tomatoes, to encourage them to ripen. Apparently they give off a gas.

We've picked a lot of ours and frozen them...I'm leaving some on the plant to go Red, if they don't get too big..we've had a bumper crop this year...If you have time see my Blog on Peppers...
