I'm going to plant one in the ground spring time when the weather is nice and hot. I found a great spot for it...protected from the wind, lots of sun and water just drains away. I will probably have to add mulch to the base to keep it warm.

Yes, Plumeria rubra does so much better growing in the ground than in pots.

I'm sure your plumeria will grow like gangbusters once planted into the ground.
