Jacaranda mimosifolia - Jacaranda Tree Flowering

That's a stunner, would make a grand canopy.....

This is a small tree. Jacaranda trees are grown here by the millions...they are very widely grown as a street tree, median tree (almost everyone has at least one). When they bloom in spring the whole city turns blue/purple. All the tourists always want to know what the blue or purple tree is...it's pretty funny!

Yes just had a look, the colour is beautiful, no wonder so people like them...

Yes, it's a very beloved tree here in many cities from southern California up to the San Francisco Bay Area.
