It's a she.She has a thyroid problem, which caused high blood pressure and that caused the blindness about 2 years ago.

Oops sorry - she's a really bonny girl. I think animals generally cope much better with blindness than we humans do. We had a border collie who was almost totally blind near the end of his 17 year life. He coped admirably (as long as you didn't move the furniture around).

P. Great shot ,noticed some of the leaves on mine chopped in pieces recently and could not understand it ,that was until I saw my big mouthed dog drinking from it

She is so gorgeous...does she go into the garden by herself, or do you go with her...bless her...We have four Cats...all females, and I know I would be so protective of them if they had a little problem...long may she enjoy her little life...:o))

She goes in and out on her own and finds her way around the garden on her own,but only when I'm home. She knows where the pond is and how to drink out of it.

How's Sooty doing P....is she ok...!!

Crissue-she has slowed down very noticeably in the last 2 weeks, but still has a healthy appetite and is as well as can be hoped for considering her age and medical condition. Thank you for asking.
