Clematis replanted

Is that what I need to do with mine? Mine has some sort of grey mould on it?? It certainly doesn't look happy.

Hi stickitoffee that certainately does not sound good.I was told they need large planters or large areas to grow well.It sounds to me like yours may have a disease as mine just went brown and died.Managed to bring it back though once replanted.Hope you manage to find out the problem maybe worth putting a question on here to see if anyone can explain it:)))))
