My Nan and Mum used to grow this in abundance, and the scent was gorgeous....So many lovely flowers of today, have the looks but no scent...I like scent....

Meant to tell you too Pix...I was looking at my Perennial Campanula yesterday, and it's got lots of little babies, so I gently took a few rooted pieces and i'm going to plant them up in little peat pots...then into pots when they've established....those little peat growers are ideal, you don't have to take them out, just plant the whole thing...

Yes Dad always had it in his garden back in the day.
I love scent too..when I go to a GC I sniff around to see where scents are coming from then look at those plants..cant laways afford them to lolol
AH congratulations on your babies! I should look at mine today and maybe do that..but I dont have a greenhouse..oh no the studio is going to become a greenhouse again lol! Ive been colection dead flower heads off various plants for seeds..so will have a wee collection for next year.

Hi Stripes...looked on the packet, it says sow June - July, it's not very late really, 10 days approx to germinate...If you know where you want them to Flower next year, I would sow the seed thinly there....then you wont have to move them... Mine are going to be moved. and 18 ins tall that's not bad...They Flower next May June...Hope this helps...
The Campanula is Blue...Can't remember the 'name' as such....

Me too Clarice...Love fragrance..used to love my Nan's Garden, wish I could remember all she used to grow...
