white cyclamen

I have a few of these just starting to appear (pink) they're nice little woodlands plants aren't they?

they are Sheilar, i only started off with a small pot, but over the years they have spread all over, really nice :-)

Ours didn't do well at all :( nice to see yours coming back :)))))

I like the way they self-seed, they're on like a long coiled spring and then they open and drop off. I've taken some off for friends; they're very sticky and apparently this is so they can cling onto insects and pets and get distributed all over the place. Isn't nature wonderful?

thanks paul sorry to hear yours didn't do so well,,, that's right Sheilar i watched a wildlife program a few years ago, apparently ants love that sticky stuff and they take it to their nest to eat and the seed is left so the seed is left .. nature is great :-))

yes, i have it in a shady damp corner and it loves it :-))
