Cosmos very versatile for in between and growing through plants...I love it, and different colours on one stem...

Grew this from seed and it just went nuts.apparently it self seeds as well. I've got a couple of gardens in mind for it next year Sue.

It does self seed, I throw all the seed heads behind the plants, when they grow, you can leave what you want...Or if you collect all the seed heads, you can put them, in your new beds....will look lovely...

Good to know Sue. Thinking of my son's and My sister's gardens for next year. They'll definitely fill a space and they put on a great show.

and long lasting...even with all the rain we've had too...:o)))
