Yes they like drainage and I think in the pot last year with being so cold too they got too wet and rotted, but I shall look out for another blue one, now I ve got my Rhododendron dying think weevels have eaten the root.

Shame about your Rhodo 6d....
Never had a blue Agapanthus just my White, but it hasn't really produced very well this year at all...

They like to be split Crissue in order to flower better.
Lets hope Homebird they come back up for you, I think the Rhododendron has had it

Thanks for that Sixpence, but i've only had it two seasons, and it didn't do anything first time...and only 1 flower stem out of two developed...:o(((

They say they are far better at flowering if in pots they like to get pot bound.
