Anti heron line around pond

The fishing line is less invasive to the eye! The trick was, finding something pretty to wind it around

is there anything on it htat would let the birds know there's something there to be avoided? I assume that would also help keep herons out, they wouldn't assume there's a clear space and fly into the line

Hi Fran, yes, I tied some beads along the line and have had no bird caught, The fishing line works well keeping those pesky herons away from my fish.

whew, off the hook! Used to see tags hanging from telephone wires in the country, someone said it was so that game birds could see there was something there and not fly into the wires. ha, never mind the wildlife, just so there's plenty of birds for "sportsmen" to shoot!
