The story behind these is: I found an old seed tin with of course seeds in it, no idea what they were so planted them up and blooming heck, look what has grown. They are all different colours.

Thank you people, it was a lovely surprise. The seed must have been at least 4 years old if not older. I haven't had this plant for years and years. Although knowing me I could have stolen the seed from someones garden and forgotten about it. ssshhhhhh.

Your not the only one to have done this Olive.I used to occasionally go round the garden centre with my friend with a bit of kitchen roll and plastic bag but there's been a bit of adverse publicity about this ,so feeling guilty and stopped doing it.

I 'sampled' a blueberry in the GC last week...just as well because it was very bitter! Only fair I think! :))

Good thinking there Karen Sue.
I cannot believe that anyone would mind seed pods being taken even from a garden centre, after all you can even pick wild flower seeds, not plants but seeds yes.

I know, it's not like they are going to use them! Still, I suppose if everyone did it the plants would probably be damaged.

Yes that is true I suppose.
