Haven't see Red Buttons Moti will have to google it...it sounds nice though...Both baskets will be over wintered in our little Sun room, OH has put Hooks up for the baskets...and I want to split them too...and take cuttings off the Zonals...fingers x'd...all works well...Have got a deep red one in the Woodland bed, can't remember the name...but it will have to be protected...

Such a shame they're not hardy - I saw a Pennisetum Rubrum in the GC yesterday, really wanted it, but thanks to GoY knew it wouldn't survive the winter. Its label didn't say anything about hardiness! :((

Tsk! Tsk! Get them telt! lol

I bought one - just checked the label it doesn't say anything on that label either. Will put it under some fleece and hide it in my little green greenhouse and keep my fingers crossed. Shame because it is a lovely grass and lovely colours.

I've had a google and it says from half hardy to hardy Perennials cut down in Autumn and mulch and cover...
I think I will dig up my Rubrum, and Pot it and bring it under cover....I've also got Pony Tails so I'll have to check that one too...Best to be on the safe side, would be disappointed to lose them...
Moti
Red Buttons is lovely...and I also saw 'Fireworks' which I liked very much...would look great in a Hot bed...
