Thanks a bunch everyone...Boy did my feet feel like they didn't belong to me afterwards...:(((
Our biggest problem in this part of the garden is the intense heat...We are trying to plant so that we can at least get some shade as the trees develop...The Fig should do ok...but will protect it in Winter, just in case...The Ribes at least will be contained in the Pot, and the Canopy it creates will help some...Can't plant any Heucheras this side, they will fry...and there are plants in the bed already like stock on the edge etc, that can't be moved...so we'll plant around them for now...
A lot of the work will be done in Spring, when I put my long list of Perennials + at least one of the Pennisteum from the Zonal baskets into action in there too....:)))
Meadowland
My fruit at the moment consists of Melons and the Figs, which is the first year...and Blackeberries, which I make lots of jams and jellies with...would love to start a Strawberry bed...We have a new Cherry tree, but that will be a while before that fruits...

Pix if you were closer you could have them both, I just don't know where to put them, and they need a good paint...too...lol...

lol I meant for me to come round for morning coffee in PJs! lol

Oh right...silly me, getting old and tired lol...:)))
Sure I can find you a better chair than that; bit hard on the rear end...Hoping OH will get them in the Garage this Winter, and treat them to a good coat of paint for me, its well overdue...
Just having another look at the pic...I've moved our clump of Shasta Daisy over, into where the Cowslip is in the pic, and the Cowslip has gone to the front garden, along with my one flower producing Peoni... :))) a few more Gladis in...and 2 new Liatris...that's about it...

Morning Pix...I am a terror for moving something, but I hope for the better, do get it wrong too lol...:)))
How's the weather this morning your end, stopped raining yet...at least the ground will be soft enough when you do start reorganising...

So far have planted the Standard Fig into the cleared bed, added the potted up Ribes that was previously blocking the bed...Half dozen finished Gladis...two Perennials...and that's taken all afternoon...:))))
Am cream crackered now...signing off...feet up...enjoy your evening all...x
