Oh NO! - its 4.30pm and it looks like it is going to stop raining now. Just the occasional spot now. :O( Nope it was kidding me on it is coming down again now. lol :o) Off to cook tea now or I shall get sacked. lol. Also got to make some custard to go with that Apple Cake.

Oh blimey, did you have to say that last bit? now I really fancy apple cake and custard! The power of my mind...honestly! lol....call that a puddle? ;) We had 75 in the shade here yesterday and today I've got the hose on the garden (yes, really!) because the plants up at the fence are bone dry! Still soggy down at the house though!

It is still slinging it down here, the cake is delicious. Paul had two pieces. lol. :o)

I haven't seen this area before Olive, love the shrubs.Is that a rosa rugosa in the foreground?

that is Rose - De Rescht - and the perfume is to die for. Second flush of flowers on this. It is a beauty. Bit taller than it is supposed to be though, must have got its feet into some good stuff.

I'll have to look out for this one Olive.

Hi Crissue - they are two guinea pigs, looking after them for one of my daughters whilst she was away, think I shall hang on to them now as they are having building work done and there place will be in a bit of a turmoil with builders etc. for a while. They do not have names. lol. they are nearly 4 years old and I know that they only live for about 3 years, just hoping they keep alive while they are with me. I shall have kittens if they kick their clogs whilst with me.
