This Kahili Ginger is still blooming...generally they're done blooming by now. Photo taken Aug 23, 2011.

Is it 50mm or 50cm tall?
This plant typically grows to at least 6ft/2m tall.

Lovely plant. I am a fan of Gingers,but lost mine last winter.Will try again next year!

There's probably a 100+ species which grow here...they're very pretty and fragrant when they bloom.
