Thank you Plantaholic.
Tet, I think you can buy these seeds quite readily. I feel sure I have seen them somewhere. If I can get any seeds off them I will send you some.

Thank you. I will keep my eyes peeled!

Milky, I'm sorry just realised I missed you in my thankyous. You didnt manage to save yours through the winter then ? I was wondering if I could, but probably not. Can't bring too many things into the house for winter, no room for humans !!

Tetra ... I asked for ID on this and one of the comments (from Meanie) stated "like all Morning Glories it's easy! But it does need a long, hot Summer to thrive!" ... Will we get one of those next year ... your guess is as good as mine really! ... :o)))

I have this plant too...grew from seed, Meanie tells me it is frost tender...wonder if it could be over-wintered indoors?...:>)
29 Aug, 2011
There's me thinking I'd found something original ... lol! .....

Never mind Shirley...I thought it was a wonderful find!

Cinders, no mine didnt survive winter but I think it was purely like you...you can only bring in a certain amount of plants.....lol....
29 Aug, 2011

I've decided to grow some again next year..........
29 Aug, 2011
Have you Meanie ? They are quite attractive aren't they.
29 Aug, 2011
Well, we're clearly due a steamy summer next year to make up for this!! Just what they need to do well!
30 Aug, 2011
Yes I agree. I can't see any sign of seed pods on it yet though.
30 Aug, 2011
I found them to be slow (and slightly unreliable) seeders Cinderella............
30 Aug, 2011
I thought they might be. Just posted another pic of it.

I'm just looking at pics of this beautiful annual climber ... need something to clothe the trellis before the Honeysuckle gets going! ... Cinders, any idea how long this bloomed for last year please?

Hi Shirley, It started flowering June/July time and kept on till the weather turned cold. Must have been about November I think, so if you got them going early and it was in the garden or a large tub it would look good. Its not a very dense plant, sort of dainty. I got it at Dotty's open day, but I have seen packets of seed in the GC. I did try to take seed but it didnt produce many. Will see if I can get some going.

Thanks for that info. Cinders ... I shall look out for some seeds before too long ... need something to cover the trellis while I wait to see if the Pyracanthas recover! .....
