This is a photo of the 1st flower starting to open on Clematis tangutica Radar Love that I grew from seed sent to me by Sixpence in January 2011.

I planted it on the post & wires, one at either end & one in the middle! All three will meet up one day I imagine! At the moment the post & wires are covered in Morning Glory with 100s of new flowers every day &, as there are many colours, they look gorgeous!
The Morning Glory grew up at just the right time to take over from the Sweetpeas which were dying off! A perfect interchange! Look out for a photo or two in my photos!
I'm growing a couple of these Clematis on my balcony as well! I haven't seen any flowers on them yet though. I also have some Morning Glory on the balcony as well.

That is brilliant it s grown so well I m so pleased with this, I was nt expecting it to grow so big so quick it will soon cover that pipe and reach about 14 ft high, you cut back in early spring.
