Perfect! I like your little fence too. The tree in the background looks a tropical one.

Thank you Denise, thank you Sue. I must look up the common name and check what it is in our language.
However, if it's turning colors, haven't seen anything like it. When it is red it must be really nice. Must check.
Checked. Couldn't find the sinhala name but it is also called Staghorn sumac and a drink like lemonade is made from the berries. However there is another variety of the same family which is poisonous. So don't make the lemonade unless you are very sure. The bad one is also called the Eastern Poison Oak. Denise, since you are so knowledgeable, don't you like to volunteer to help Dr Mazza? I have put out a notice somewhere on this site asking for helpers. If you didn't see it, please check on Dr Guiseppe Mazza's website. He has 32 websites in 4 languages and would like some helpers to sort out his collection of over 70,000 slides. He would also like to have some volunteers to help him in translating Italian into Spanish, French and English. I think he has the best website on animals and plants on the internet. He says he gets more than thousand visitors a day. Sorry Sue for taking up your column for this but hopefully the info was useful to you too. If you know anyone who could help please let me know. But first, please check his website to see his Monstera growing inside his studio for over 40 years. It is climbing all over the walls! Thanks both of you. Nice talking to you.

No problem Vav...The Staghorn...does have Red Seed heads, and no I didn't know there was a lemonade drink made from the berries...I have to go round every day picking up the spent flower heads every from now on, as they self seed easily, and send little suckers up everywhere...we have a mature one too, that was here when we moved...If you have time to look at my blog a Garden for all Seasons, you'll see two photos of the large one which helps to shade our Front garden...
