This summer's Amp-planter

Earlier this summer a Morning Glory vine started growing in my "amp planter" and I let it do what it wanted, being careful to train it not to grow on the other containers by weaving it back onto itself. This morning was the first time that it fully bloomed after 68 days straight of severe 100+ deg days here in central Texas.
I wonder where the seed came from because I never planted it. Birds?
I just LOVE the deep purple colors!

Lol! Love it, N2!!
Vavilla..there are lots of us growing this beautiful vine! We are gardeners and most of us do not have vandals! (but I say that with a caveat!)
If any of us are aware of it's 'potential'...I'm sure they'll keep it to themselves...in the meantime, can not the rest of us grow it, innocently, just for its beauty?

Novel idea.......your container N20. If more people do this kind of recycling less problems regarding pollution. And the plant looks nice and well controlled. I had this on the ground and it invaded everything. I too could have controlled it but decided got rid of it when I found out it is a hallucinating drug, (in which form I am not aware). Here those who grow Marijuana are arrested and I was frightened they would come and get me too! You could always trim the extra trailing vines which would encourage more flowers. Happy gardening!
