When I decided to grow some new Hollyhock I chose Various H 'Alcea rosea' seeds as they are now said to be rust resistant and sure enough its seems to be Libet.

it really is very nice,Denise..and good that there are rust resistant ones available now...

Well they look much nicer Bloomer without all the leaves cut off like my older ones

Thank you for that Denise, I love hollyhocks, but I couldn't bear the rust, but I'm going to order some of the new strain, now you've given it at least a preliminary, stamp of approval!

Well I find they are all, almost rust free but I wonder if it will last in to next year? - we shall see.
